Food Insecurity

This refers to the situation of an individual or a group of people having extremely low food intake, which can be temporary, seasonal or chronic. In poor or even rich countries, there are always lots of poor people who can not ensure that they acquire enough food everyday. In some politically unstable societies, ceaseless wars and conflicts have rendered a lot of people displaced and threatened with starvation. Currently, there are approximately one billion people around the world who are underfed everyday.
