Conflict

Confrontations between individual and individual, or group and group are generally defined as ˇ§conflicts.ˇ¨ Conflicts can occur in any form and in any place, e.g., wars between nations, violence within a country, deprivation of human rights and domestic violence. Poor people usually suffer the most in conflicts because they have neither money nor power. Unlike those with greater resources, poor people may be threatened with starvation and displacement or end up as refugees.
